This album is about my love of movies. I credit a lot of my creative energy and imagination to the small town where I grew up. I would joke (and still do) that there wasn't anything else to do, so I would occupy myself either at the piano or totally engrossed in a movie. So this is a love note about how I would find myself through movies - in the stories and characters. Film and film music provided so much for me as I came of age, and both mediums continue to do so. We are all storytellers, and we want to be heard. This is my way of sharing stories.

I wanted this album to feel intimate, almost as if you are in an empty theater watching as I play live to pictures on the screen.

Also, I owe a HUGE thank you to Nick Stetina. He helped me record the album once at his home studio, I waited for some time and then I wrote new pieces and changed my mind a million times. He then agreed to record it with me AGAIN a year later. Both times, he made the album sound INCREDIBLE. He understood the music, would even suggest better alternatives, or perhaps another take if it wasn't working. In ADDITION to everything else, he helped me record videos and did some awesome photography. Nick, you are a great friend to have. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
